The New Sacred
Mysteries Rosary
For centuries the fifteen decade
rosary was used by many throughout the Catholic Church. It was the
rosary used to recite the fifteen mysteries of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
In 2002, Pope John Paul II proposed that five more decades be added to
the rosary. The Luminous Mysteries, or Mysteries of Light were added to
the Holy Rosary of Sacred Mysteries.
