HOMAGE OF ADORATION TO THE HOLY SPIRIT
"Rosary of the Paraclete"
From the Sisters of the Holy Spirit in Pittsburgh, PA - a community from Poland.
(May be recited on any 59 bead Marian rosary)

Begin with the Apostles Creed.

Slowly and piously, say
1 Glory Be.

Then pray
1 Our Father
Followed by this invocation:
Father, please increase Your Holy Spirit dwelling in me since my Baptism; I ask in Jesus' Name. Amen.
(Alternate Invocation):
Father, Father, send us the promised Paraclete, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Pray the following on the five decades:
On each Hail Mary bead say with a burning heart of love of God:
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful and kindle in us the fire of Your love!

After each decade, recite:
Send forth Your Spirit and we shall be recreated; and You will renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray:
O God, Who did instruct the hearts of Your faithful by the Light of Your Holy Spirit;
grant that by the same Spirit we may be truly Wise and ever rejoice in His consolation.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Then pray (dependent upon location)
1 Our Father
Followed by this invocation:
Father, please increase Your Holy Spirit dwelling in me since my Baptism; I ask in Jesus' Name. Amen.
(Alternate Invocation):
Father, Father, send us the promised Paraclete, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

After the 5th decade is completed, recite
1 Hail Holy Queen
in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary who presided in the Cenacle (Upper Room) on Pentecost Sunday
and who encourages us to be obedient to the instructions of her Spouse, God, the Holy Spirit.

Short reflections may be considered concerning five Wonderful Operations of the Holy Spirit (Paraclete).
1st Mystery: Let us honor the Holy Spirit and adore Him, the Substantial Love which proceeds from the Father and the Son, uniting Them in an eternal and infinite love.
2nd Mystery: Let us honor the Holy Spirit and adore Him in the Immaculate Conception of Mary, sanctifying her from the very first instant with a plenitude of grace.
3rd Mystery: Let us honor the Holy Spirit and adore Him in His operation in the Blessed Virgin Mary at the Incarnation of the Word, the Son of God, by His Divine Nature and the Son of Mary in His humanity.
4th Mystery: Let us honor the action of the Holy Spirit and adore Him in His coming to our Holy Mother, the Church on the glorious day of Pentecost in the Cenacle.
5th Mystery: Let us honor the action of the Holy Spirit and adore Him abiding forever in the Church and faithfully assisting her, according to His Divine promise, till the end of the world.

PRACTICES:
Recite this Rosary of the Holy Spirit:
Often, even daily.
Especially on Sundays and as part of the Novena for Pentecost.
When some important decision must be made.
At certain grave moments and when special spiritual help is needed.
On recollection days and retreats.
This wonderful and simple "Rosary" must become very familiar to everyone and one of our great Catholic devotions. We must have enlightened spirituality. The Blessed Virgin, Queen of Doctors and of the Cenacle, will bless you.
You will thus win her Heart "Full of grace," for she is the Masterpiece of the Holy Spirit's operation.
In your devotions, you should always keep in mind the essential. The first of all devotions must be to the Blessed Trinity, and therefore, also to the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity.
