Mother Teresa Rosary
Mother Teresa - Angel of Mercy - Saint of the Gutter
Mother Teresa was born Agnes
Gonxha Bojaxhiu in Skopje, Macedonia. She joined the Sisters of Loretto as
a nun at an early age and taught school until the call of the poor became
too strong for her to resist. Though she had no money or resources, she went
out and began an open air school for children in the slums of Calcutta.
In 1950 she received permission from the Holy See to begin her own
order, The Missionaries of Charity. Today, her order numbers 517
missions in over 100 countries with over one million clergy and
volunteers worldwide to help the blind, the disabled, the poor, the
starving and the dying.

Daily Prayer of Mother Teresa
Dear Jesus, help me to spread Thy
fragrance everywhere I go. Flood my soul with Thy spirit and love.
Penetrate and possess my whole being so utterly that all my life may
only be a radiance of Thine. Shine through me and be so in me that every
soul I come in contact with may feel Thy presence in my soul. Let them
look up and see no longer me but only Jesus. Stay with me and then I
shall begin to shine as you shine, so to shine as to be a light to
others. |
