How to Pray the Chaplet of Saint Gabriel
Patron Saint of communications workers, broadcasters, messengers,
clergy, postal workers and ambassadors.
The 33 small decade beads represent the 33 years in
the earthly life of our Lord. The 2 joining beads signify
the Divinity and the humanity of the Lord Jesus.
On the 1st bead above the medal, pray
Heavenly Father, through the salutation of the
Archangel Gabriel, may we honor the Incarnation of Your Divine son.
On the 2nd bead above the medal, pray
Mother of our Savior, may we strive always to
imitate your holy virtues and to respond to our Father,
'Be it done unto me according to Thy Word.'
On the 3rd bead above the medal, pray
Archangel Gabriel, please praise our Father for
the gift of His Son praying, one day, by His grace, we may all be one.
On the small beads in each decade, pray
Hail, full of grace, The Lord is with Thee!
Blessed art Thou among women.
On the 2 large separator beads, pray
Behold, Thou shalt conceive in they womb, and
shalt bring forth a son, and Thou shalt call his name Jesus.
Prayer of Intercession on the Medal (optional)
O Blessed Archangel Gabriel, we beseech thee, do
thou intercede for us at the throne of Divine Mercy in our present
necessities, that as Thou didst announce to Mary the mystery of the
Incarnation, so through Thy prayers and patronage in Heaven we may
obtain the benefits of the same, and sing the praise of God forever in
the land of the living. Amen. |
