How to Pray the Chaplet of Conversion
This Feast day is honored on July 22nd.
The Chaplet of Conversion was requested by Our Lady for the
conversion of souls of the world in these perilous times. It was given to a chosen soul in
Ireland, with the request that it be prayed widely.
On the first bead after the Crucifix, pray
1 Apostles Creed
For the unbelievers of the world
On the next bead, pray
1 Our Father
For the conversion of the world.
On the next bead, pray
1 Hail Mary,
Honoring the Father for the exaltation of Mary,
a mere creature, and for choosing to honor her with the title:
Queen of Heaven
and Mediatrix of all graces.
On the next bead, pray
1 Hail, Holy Queen |
On each large bead, say
Holy Mother, I join thee at the foot of thy Son's Cross to implore mercy
and conversion for the souls of the world. With thee I offer the wounds of thy Son Jesus to the
Father in atonement for the sins of the world, past, present and to come.
On each of the small beads, pray
Through the sorrowful, bleeding, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and in union
with the suffering of her Son, Jesus, on the Cross, I implore Thee, Heavenly Father, the grace
of conversion for the world.
At the end of each group of five invocations, pray
one Hail Mary,
In honor of Mary's tears of sorrow,
followed by this short prayer:
Holy Mother Mary, Mediatrix of all graces, obtain for us from God the
conversion of the world.
On each of the three end beads, pray
1 Glory Be,
In honor of the Blessed Trinity
In conclusion, pray
1 Hail, Holy Queen. |
