This chaplet bracelet was made with 6mm ruby red Czech glass beads.
Completed with a 1" oval silver ox Face of Jesus "Ecce Homo"
Medal. A Mater Dolorosa (Our Lady of Sorrows) Medal is on the reverse. It is
a dual Medal. A 6mm silver plated spring clasp is attached. Wear it, attach it
to your handbag, briefcase, hang it from your rear view mirror, etc. Take it with
you wherever you go. Fashioned with durable nickel silver findings. This
devotion is observed on the day before Lent begins, or Shrove Tuesday.

How to Pray The Chaplet of The Holy Face
The fourteen beads represent the Stations of the Cross.
Recite the following prayer while:
1- Looking upon the Holy Face of Jesus.
or
2 - Holding the medal of the Holy Face.
or
3 - With outstretched arms as on a cross.
(in the privacy of your home.)
Eternal Father, for my own and the salvation of
all men, I offer You the infinite merits of Your beloved Son, Jesus
Christ, whose Holy Face unveils to us Your fatherly mercy as well as
Your godly presence. It is He who told us: "Who sees Me, sees the
Father." Through the sorrowful, immaculate and merciful heart of Mary,
Your beloved daughter, the faithful and ever Virgin Spouse of the Holy
Spirit and Mother of Your Son, our Lord and Redeemer, I offer You the
infinite merits which the Holy Face of Jesus has earned for us. I offer
them also through St. Joseph, the faithful manager of all the gifts and
favor coming from You, the Father of light and mercy. I also express my
thankfulness for the Holy Face of Jesus, our Mediator, Who protects us
against every interior and exterior harm.
Then on each of the fourteen beads, say:
Let the light of Your Holy Face shine on us and in
Your mercy save us. Amen. |
